Mario Rivillos never needed anyone to tell him he was the best. The courts in Spain did that for him. From his early years grinding through the youth system to becoming the most decorated club player in futsal history, Rivillos built his legacy one title at a time. CVY has been by his side for over a year. Today, it becomes official.
He is the only player in futsal history to win five UEFA Futsal Champions League titles. With Inter Movistar, FC Barcelona, and three straight with Palma Futsal from 2023 to 2025, including a goal in the 2025 final itself. No one else has done that. Not one player in the history of the sport.
In February 2026, he captained Spain to their eighth UEFA Futsal Euro title in Ljubljana, lifting the trophy as skipper after a 5 to 3 win over Portugal. Ten years since their last Euro. He brought it back. Before all the trophies, there was a teenager who was not selected at a Real Madrid football trial and went back to futsal. He never looked back.
