David Taylor plays the game with relentless intensity. Quick, fearless, and impossible to get past, he has earned his place as one of the most dependable defenders in Major League Soccer, the kind forwards dread facing and coaches build around. Known throughout CVY as DJ, he has represented CRKSOLY. since 2024, and today he steps into a new chapter, joining the brand as a co owner.
His path was earned, never given. He developed through the youth ranks of North Carolina, tested himself with a season in Spain, and broke into Major League Soccer on talent and sheer will. In 2024 he reached one hundred appearances for the Loons, a milestone reached by very few and the mark of a player who performs at the highest level, season after season.
That is exactly the kind of athlete CVY was built to elevate. Cracks Only has always meant one thing: a standard you set and refuse to lower, on the field and beyond it. It runs through our entire community and defines our board. DJ has embodied it since the day he joined us, and today he carries it as an owner, with a genuine stake in the brand and a seat among those shaping its future.
